Dexia is a free Kobot. He was formerly a civilian Kobot assigned to shopkeeping and housekeeping, but after having been successful enough with his first owner, another wanted to have him for himself, and was kind enough to nor only buy Dexia for a very good price, but also paying him for the work.

When Dexia was released at the death of his second owner, he was wealthy enough to be his own owner.
